thoughts

so 'tis is the night of revelations. I am not ashamed of saying, that it might very well be the most important night of this present year and of the following 4 years to come.
why?
well, the leading country of the world is electing their new captain, their new leader, the most equal citizen of them all; a (maybe) new president.
important not only to americans...no, it is important as well to the whole rest of the world, which is eagerly awaiting the chosen one.
most countries have opted for hope, for a change, which I personally would favour. the past four years have been quite interesting, moving, upsetting, frustrating, challenging, and most certainly entertaining.
why entertaining?
I have never witnessed such a mass global hatred or cynicism towards one distinct president, as the past four years have brought. there have been funny appliances that have nicked our precious time, such as: "georges-in-a-box", "slap-a-bush", or "W's-revenge". they have indeed entertained us quite much. but what it did to his credibility, it is quite a slap-in-the-face, highly discrediting and a shamer!
so we've all had a laugh, but will we continue to do so, should georgyboy win again?
we've done so, because we had no other choice, the reality being shoking as it is, or reckless, ruthless...you name it.
further, I wonder if JohnFKerry is up to the task.
ok, so he ought to be the lesser evil of both worlds, but will he be able to conjure that one great nation and bundle it to reclaim it's throne in justice? I mean this in a fair and equitable way...! which george hasn't been capable of...at least Kerry has done good before. maybe he's not always being "the" rock in the shore with his beliefs and claims, but he's been a catalizer for the political movement against the war in vietnam and effected in parts, the retreat.
and let's face it, would you care to hang on a chimps "lip-synched" words for another four years? Jeeezz, idunno, seems quite strenous again, doesn't it? more "georges-in-a-box's"? puh...he's voice has been going on my nerves, lately.

i wish both contestants and to this world a fair and square election.
i wish that the claims made during the run onto the presidency in the campaigns will be taken seriously and not re-re-re-considered for the time of service, of either candidate.
i truly wish, this world (thus the need of inputs coming from the leading country), is up to the burden of redrawing the neglected bounds between humanity, jump over the merky shadows of extremism, stop being judgmental over minorities and is able to solve the dried wells of friendship with important alliances (germany/france).
i hope, that the people of the united states will vote for freedom and peace, foremost; vote for the good in this world, and not stay blinded by some post-coldwar dinosaures with a unquenched thirst for power and the lust to spread the word of fear. americans deserve better, we the world deserve better!

if Kerry wins, it could drop tendencies of right winged extremism at power, a far sinister trend, that has been witnessed in europe and around the world for the past years.
fascism does not always portray the face of adolf hitler!
i am opting for hope and change.
my personal vote goes to john kerry, hopefully, he will be able to turn the boat around and be a great leader, as once JFK has been for an entire generation.

may this day become the dawn of doom for war corporates and the war mongerers @ the whitehouse.

be good and upright, keep positive thoughts, forgive the ones that have done us wrong and treat your fellow humans as friends. help the needy and never believe that you are something better; even if advice seems so easy to give, try to figure out for youself if it makes you happier living them.

george, john,...may the best man win.

what barry says

since we are now in a decisive part of the elections '04, it will certainly not hurt to throw in some booze into the fire...make him burn stronger.
